Collaborations Invited

SRC will entertain discussions concerning collaborations on new activities to develop innovative sensors or measurement systems. Such collaborations would require technical leadership or intellectual resources in key areas which can be provided by SRC. Collaborations are longer term commitments and would typically be expected to involve significant or ongoing participation and may extend to include partnerships in areas of particular interest to SRC. Small businesses (business plan in at least draft form required)
Entrepreneurial teams (business plan in at least draft form required)
Established research centers (funded project - copy of original project proposal, or relevant parts thereof, required).
OR be in the nature of a business alliance with certain types of contractual or consulting organizations who wish to incorporate access for their clients to specific SRC capabilities.

Collaborations will only be considered after a full and careful evaluation of technical objectives and resources and where appropriate, business plans and personnel. The details of a collaboration will in all cases be separately specified in a written agreement negotiated with SRC. SRC does not collaborate on military, weapons or defense related projects.

To contact me please see the contact information page at this site and in your communication state your interest in discussing a possible collaboration. Where appropriate, interested parties are requested to prepare a two page summary proposal for SRC, which can be examined without prior execution of confidentiality agreements. This should include a general description of the project objectives and anticipated milestones, potential areas and level of SRC involvement, and otherwise give sufficient information to allow a meaningful preliminary evaluation for the purpose of justifying going further.
