SRC is generally available Monday to Friday during normal business hours (EST). Any exceptions are noted here as the Internet equivalent of leaving a telephone voicemail saying "I'm sorry but I shall be away from my desk……". In particular, current availability should always be checked prior to submitting requests for online consulting. All messages and forms sent during 'unavailable' periods will be attended to as soon as possible.

	AWARD: Chartered status has long been recognized in the UK and Europe. Dave has in fact been a Chartered Physicist (CPhys) for many years. This year the UK Science Council created the prestigious designation Chartered Scientist, (CSci). Dave was recently awarded this designation; (11-04).
